Process Technologies received its 8(a) certification from the Small Business
Administration (SBA) in June, 2004. It is valid until 2013. The SBA's
8(a) Business Development Program was created to help small disadvantaged
businesses compete in the American economy and gain access the federal
procurement market.
By
becoming 8(a) certified, SPT can gain an advantage in procuring U.S. government
contracts under a certain dollar amount. This helps SPT grow and allows
its employees to take advantage of a wide range of opportunities that
would normally be difficult to obtain.
